Why do I have to wire in my final funds?

You’re required to wire in your final funds for closing for a variety of reasons. This includes being sure that the wire is timely, at least a day in advance of the closing, so that the funds can be collected prior to closing. Additionally, unfortunately, there is cashier’s check fraud and other types of fraud that sometimes happens, and we want to protect you against those issues.
